Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels, 1/2 c. evaporated milk, 1 c. nuts, chopped and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Make cake according to package directions.
Pour half of cake batter into prepared pan and bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Melt caramels, milk and butter in top of double boiler.
Pour over baked cake.
Top with chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour remaining cake batter over chips and nuts.
Bake an additional 20 minutes.
