Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 oz. pkg. caramels, 1/4 c. evaporated milk, 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix, 1 stick butter, melted and 3/4 c. evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt caramels and 1/4 cup evaporated milk.
Keep warm.
Mix cake mix, butter and 3/4 cup evaporated milk.
Place a little less than half the cake mixture in a greased 9 x 12-inch pan. Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
Pour melted caramels over cake and sprinkle nuts and chips on top.
Spread other half of cake mixture over the top and bake for 15 minutes.
