Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 16 minutes. Made with box german chocolate cake mix, (14 oz) bag kraft caramels, c. butter, c. evaporated milk and c. semi sweet chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix cake according to directions.
Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Bake one half of cake mixture in 350° oven for 15 minutes.
In sauce pan (over low heat) melt caramels with butter and milk.
Remove cake from oven and pour sauce mixture over half baked cake.
Top with chocolate chips and pecans.
Pour second layer of cake batter over top and return to oven.
Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
