Turtle Bars
Turtle Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. oatmeal, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 3/4 c. butter, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 375°. Mix 1 1/2 cups flour and next 3 ingredients.
Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
Reserve 3/4 cup and put rest in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and reduce heat to 350°. Sprinkle nuts and chips over partially baked layer.
Combine 1/4 cup flour and caramel.
Drizzle over chips and nuts.
Sprinkle reserved crumbs over caramel mixture.
Bake 20 minutes.
