Brown meat; drain in a colander.
Saute onion, garlic, celery and parsley in olive oil.
Add mushrooms.
Add ground beef.
Add thyme, salt and pepper.
Add pecan halves and mix.
Lower fire, cover and continue cooking 10 minutes.
Cool and refrigerate.
