Turkey Strata
Turkey Strata is an impressive dinner. Made with 11 slices white bread, 4 c. cooked turkey, 1/2 lb. mushrooms, 1/4 c. butter and 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Butter two 9 x 12-inch pans.
Line with bread.
Layer with chicken, mushrooms and chestnuts.
Dot with mayonnaise.
Combine soups and pour over top.
Sprinkle 2 ounce can of pimento (optional).
Put 11 slices of cheese on top.
Mix together eggs, milk and salt.
Pour over top.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
Can place buttered croutons on top before baking.
