Turkey Pizza
Turkey Pizza is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. warm water, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 lb. ground turkey and 1 diced green pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix the yeast and warm water.
Add the flour until well blended, then let it rise for 2 to 3 hours.
In a large saucepan, brown the ground turkey, then add the pepper and onion, cooking until the vegetables are tender.
Add the spaghetti sauce mix, tomato paste and water; simmer for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into thirds and pat to spread into 3 greased pizza pans.
Spread with sauce; sprinkle with shredded low-fat Mozzarella.
Bake in a 400Β° oven until cheese is lightly browned.
