Tuna Cheese Flips
Tuna Cheese Flips is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked, 1/8 tsp. lemon pepper (optional), 2 oz. (1/2 c.) shredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese, 1/3 c. miracle whip or real mayonnaise and 2 tbsp. finely chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 375°.
In bowl, mix tuna (drained), lemon pepper, cheese, salad dressing, celery and onion.
Separate dough into 10 biscuits.
Press or roll each into a 5-inch circle.
Spoon about 1/4 cup tuna mixture onto the center of each biscuit.
Fold dough in half over filling; press edges with fork to seal.
Brush each biscuit with egg or milk.
Press both sides in crushed chips. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Make 2 or 3 (1/2-inch) slits in each top crust.
Bake at 375° for 18 to 24 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Makes 10 sandwiches.
