Treasure Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 2 eggs and 1/2 c. peanut butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream together the shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs, peanut butter and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and soda.
Mix thoroughly. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375Β° for 10 minutes. Remove from baking sheet at once.
Yields 3 dozen cookies.
