Transparent Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter, 1 1/4 c. white sugar, 3 tbsp. flour, 1 1/4 c. half and half and 5 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
👨🍳 Instructions
Cream butter, sugar and flour.
Add beaten egg yolks.
Add half and half and vanilla.
Put in unbaked pie crust and bake 15 minutes at 375°.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes more at 350°.
Top with meringue and brown slightly at 350°.
