Tot's Rolls
Tot'S Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. yeast plus 2 tbsp. sugar, dissolved in 2 c. lukewarm water, 4 eggs, beaten, 2 c. shortening, dissolved in 2 c. boiling water, 2 c. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Stir sugar and salt into first 3 ingredients.
Add eggs and stir.
Add yeast.
Add flour and mix thoroughly.
Cover with foil and set aside in warm place for 2 hours.
Dough should be double in size within 2 hours.
Punch down.
Roll to 1/4-inch thickness and cut rolls.
Dip 1/2 of each roll in melted oleo and fold over like envelope.
Place on baking sheets.
Let rise 2 hours.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Brush with melted oleo.
Takes 3 sticks of oleo.
Rolls can be frozen.
Remove from freezer and wrap in foil and heat.
