Torta Rustica
Torta Rustica is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tsp. olive oil, 13 oz. hot italian turkey sausage, casings removed, 1 tsp. dried basil, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 c. part-skim ricotta cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook 6 to 7 minutes, stirring to break into small pieces until browned.
With slotted spoon, remove sausage from skillet; set aside.
Add onion to skillet; cook, stirring frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until tender.
Stir in broccoli, basil, fennel seed and salt.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until broccoli is tender.
Transfer mixture to medium bowl.
In small bowl, combine Ricotta, egg substitute, milk and Parmesan cheese; set aside.
