Tootsie Bar
Tootsie Bar is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 egg yolk, beaten, 1 c. brown sugar, 2 c. flour and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream shortening, egg and sugar.
Add flour and vanilla. Spread mixture on greased cookie sheet.
Pat out until mixture is thin (almost covers cookie sheet).
Bake in 350Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Melt 1 large chocolate bar in double boiler.
When cookies cool slightly pour chocolate and spread.
Cool and cut into squares.
