Dissolve soda into water that you rinsed the tomato soup can with and mix with other ingredients.
Pour batter into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch square cake pan and bake in a 350Β° oven for about 35 minutes.
Frost with a cream cheese icing or white icing of your choice.
Sprinkle with additional chopped nuts, if desired.
This cake is very good without icing.
