Tomato Pudding

Mix tomato purée, 1/2 cup boiling water, brown sugar and salt and boil 10 minutes.
Put bread in buttered casserole.
Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over bread.
Add tomato mix.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes, covered, in 300° oven.
Only tomato purée works.
