Tomato Pie
Tomato Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. fine bread crumbs, 3 c. sliced ripe tomatoes, 1/3 c. thinly sliced onions, 2 c. grated cheddar cheese and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Layer bread crumbs (in bottom of buttered 9-inch pie plate; save 1/2 of bread crumbs for top), tomatoes, onions and cheese. Repeat.
Pour beaten eggs over top and remainder of bread crumbs and top with bacon.
Bake at 325Β° for 45 minutes.
Good summertime recipe.
