Toffee Square Cookies
Toffee Square Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Stir in flour and salt until blended.
Pat in a rectangle on an 11 x 17-inch greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Take out and immediately spread the Hershey bars (which you previously have broken into pieces) onto the cookie crust.
Let soften.
You may need to put cookie sheet back in the oven for a minute.
Spread chocolate over entire cookie crust.
Top with chopped nuts.
Cut into squares when completely cooled.
