Toffee - Microwave
Toffee - Microwave is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. real butter *, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt *, 1/4 c. water and 1/2 c. almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Rub top of bowl with butter.
Place butter in bowl.
Pour sugar on butter.
Add salt and water.
Cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Don't stir.
Do not overcook.
Done when it gets a light brown toffee color.
Pour over almonds that have been spread on small buttered cookie sheet.
Melt chocolate bar in microwave. Spread on candy.
Sprinkle crushed almonds on top of chocolate. Cool.
