Toffee Cookies
Toffee Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. light brown sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1 c. all-purpose flour and 6 (1.05 oz.) milk chocolate bars, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk.
Add flour gradually, stirring until well blended.
Spread dough in a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until medium brown.
After removing from oven, lay chocolate bars on top.
When melted, spread.
Sprinkle with nuts. Press down nuts slightly.
Cool and cut into bars.
