Toffee Bars
Toffee Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 2 c. sifted flour, 1 egg yolk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream together margarine and sugar.
Add flour, egg yolk and vanilla, beating well.
Spread evenly in greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
Brush top with egg white.
Sprinkle with walnuts.
Bake at 275Β° for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven.
Cut into bars immediately and cool on wire rack.
Store, tightly covered, at least 3 days before serving.
Makes approximately 4 dozen.
