Toffee Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter (1/2 oleo and 1/2 butter), 1 c. light brown sugar, 1 egg yolk and 2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter and light brown sugar.
Add egg yolk and flour. Mix and spread on cookie sheet.
Bake 20 minutes at 350Β° until lightly browned.
Melt a 10 ounce chocolate bar.
Spread on hot crust.
Sprinkle top with pecans.
Cut in small squares while still warm.
Keep refrigerated.
