Toffee Bars
Toffee Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 lb. butter (not margarine), 1 sleeve saltines and 1 pkg. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Melt butter, add sugar and boil 2 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Pour sugar mixture over saltines that have been placed on foil-lined jelly roll pan.
Do not stack saltines, place them side by side.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Do not brown.
Remove from oven. Pour morsels over, they will melt.
Spread evenly.
Crack into bite size pieces.
