Toffee Bars
Toffee Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter or margarine, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 12 oz. chocolate chips and saltine crackers, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Line 10 1/2 x 15-inch cookie sheet with foil.
Cover with a single layer of saltines.
Melt butter or margarine in a saucepan and add the brown sugar.
Boil for 3 minutes.
Pour over saltines. Bake at 350Β° for 5 minutes.
Pour chocolate chips over while still hot and let melt.
Spread until smooth.
Place in freezer until hard.
Break up and serve.
