Toffee Bars
Toffee Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 egg, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Melt butter in 8 or 9-inch pan.
Remove from heat.
Add remaining ingredients and beat with fork until mixture is smooth and creamy.
Bake at 350Β° for about 35 minutes.
Cut into squares or bars just a few minutes after removing from oven.
(If it cools, it's very difficult to cut.)
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
