Third Graders' Favorite Sugar Cookies
Third Graders' Favorite Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. margarine and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream shortening; add sugar gradually and beat until light. Add egg.
Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture. Refrigerate for approximately 15 minutes.
Roll thin on board sprinkled with confectioners sugar (or flour).
Cut with your favorite cookie cutters.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Decorate with colored sugar.
Bake at 325Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Yield: about 3 dozen cookies.
