Texas Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks margarine, 1 c. water, 4 heaping tsp. cocoa, 2 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil; stir and remove from heat.
In a mixer, have ready the flour, salt and sugar.
Pour hot mixture over dry ingredients; beat on medium for 2 minutes.
Add the sour cream, eggs, soda and vanilla.
Beat all for 1 minute. Pour into a greased 17 x 11-inch cookie pan.
Mixture will be thin.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
