Texas Sheet Cake
Texas Sheet Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sour cream, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 3 sticks butter and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream together sour cream, sugar and eggs.
Bring to boil 2 sticks butter, 1 cup water and 1/4 cup cocoa.
Add to creamed mixture.
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
Mix well. Pour in greased cookie sheet; bake 20 minutes at 350Β°.
While hot, ice with the following icing.
Bring to boil 1 stick of butter, 6 tablespoons milk and 1/4 cup cocoa.
Add powdered sugar to mixture. Spread on cake while hot.
