Texas Sheet Cake
Texas Sheet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3 c. butter and 8 tbsp. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix flour, sugar and salt in large bowl; set aside.
In a saucepan, add 2 cubes butter, 1 cup water and 4 tablespoons cocoa. Bring to a boil and add to flour mixture.
Mix well.
Combine 2 eggs, beaten, 1/2 cup sour cream and 1 teaspoon baking soda.
Add to the rest of the ingredients.
Place in a jelly roll pan that has been sprayed with Pam and bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
When cake is removed from oven and just warm, add topping.
