Texas Cornbread
Texas Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 can cream-style corn, 1 small onion, 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated and 2 boxes cornbread mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Saute meat until brown.
Saute onion; drain.
Beat eggs.
Add corn, bread mix and milk; mix well.
Preheat cast-iron skillet in oven at 350°.
Remove; grease pan.
Place 1/2 cornbread mixture into pan.
Add hamburger, onion, peppers and cheese.
Top with remaining cornbread mixture.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Remove from oven; place on wet towel for 15 minutes.
