Texas Chili
Texas Chili is an impressive soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 46 minutes. Made with . vegetable oil, . boneless chuck (1-inch cubes), c. chopped onion, (12 oz.) can beer and (14 oz.) can beef broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Heat vegetable oil in skillet.
Add beef cubes and brown on all sides.
Remove and set aside.
Cook onion in oil from meat until tender.
Add beef.
Combine spices and stir in to beef mixture.
Add beer, broth and tomato paste.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Combine flour and water.
Slowly stir into chili.
Simmer 15 minutes.
