Texas Brownies
Texas Brownies is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, dash of salt, 1 stick margarine and 1/2 c. crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl.
In saucepan, mix 1 stick margarine, Crisco, 4 tablespoons cocoa and water. Bring to boil and pour over dry ingredients.
Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla to mixture.
Pour mixture into ungreased jelly roll pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
