Tender Roast Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 5 lb. sirloin tip or rump roast, 1 envelope onion soup mix, 1 can beef consomme or broth, 1 bay leaf and 4 to 5 peppercorns, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Place meat in crock-pot.
Mix onion soup and beef consomme. Pour over meat and add bay leaf, peppercorns and mushrooms.
Cover and cook 10 to 12 hours on low or 5 to 6 hours or high.
Cook day ahead, cool and refrigerate overnight.
Cuts easily when cold. Freezes well also.
