Combine eggs, sugar, flour, shortening, milk and vanilla in large mixer bowl; beat well.
Pour 3 tablespoons batter into each of 10 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 400Β° for 4 to 5 minutes or until light brown.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
Spread frosting between layers and over top of cake. Yield
