Tea Time Tassies
Tea Time Tassies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 c. sifted flour, 1 tbsp. butter and 1 egg, unbeaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Blend cream cheese with 1/2 cup butter; then stir in flour. Refrigerate dough.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Shape dough into 24 balls. Place one in each cup of greased mini muffin pans.
Press dough to bottom and sides of each cup.
In a small bowl beat 1 tablespoon butter, egg, brown sugar, vanilla and salt until smooth.
Divide pecans into half.
Use half to sprinkle on bottom of pastry-lined muffin pans.
Fill each with about 1 teaspoon egg mixture.
Top with rest of pecans.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool, then carefully remove from pans.
Makes 24 cookies.
