Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter (not margarine), 1 1/4 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 tbsp. sweet milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Butter, sugar, eggs and flavoring with hands.
Add flour and milk.
With 1/2 cup flour, knead dough, pinching off pieces and patting out thin on greased cookie sheet.
Preheat oven at 325Β°.
Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until done.
Makes about 56 cookies.
