Tea Cakes is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, and mix well.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Add flour a little at a time and mix well.
Roll out and cut into shapes or roll into small balls and pat thin.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375Β° about 7 minutes.
