Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, and mix well.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Add flour a little at a time and mix well.
Roll out and cut into shapes or roll into small balls and pat thin.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375Β° about 7 minutes.
