Tea Biscuits
Tea Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. shortening and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together. Add water and beaten egg to shortening.
Mix with dry ingredients to make soft dough. Turn out on floured board and roll out to about half-inch thickness.
Cut out with small biscuit cutter.
Bake on greased pan in moderate oven about 25 minutes.
