Tamale Pie
Tamale Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 onion, finely chopped, 1 green pepper, chopped fine, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 c. chopped olives and 1 small can vegeburger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute onion, green pepper and clove of garlic.
Saute vegeburger in separate pan until light brown.
Mix all together and add chili powder as desired.
Add tomatoes and cornmeal, still cooking over low heat.
Add olives. Put into buttered casserole and bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
Uncover for the last 15 minutes.
