Tamale Pie
Tamale Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 2 medium onions, finely chopped, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In 12-inch skillet, over moderate heat, cook beef, onions and garlic until meat loses its red color.
Stir in tomato sauce, milk, eggs, corn, olives, cornmeal, salt, chili powder and Tabasco sauce.
Turn into 2-quart oblong baking dish.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean (45 minutes).
