Taffy Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. vinegar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. orange food color (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Boil to hard ball stage.
Pour onto plates and let cool until you can handle it.
Rub hands with butter before pulling taffy. When taffy is cool enough, pull apart with hands.
The more you pull, the creamier it will get.
Shape and let stand until it gets hard.
