Taco Pie
Taco Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 envelope (1 1/2 oz.) taco seasoning mix, 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chiles, drained and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Grease 10-inch pie plate.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Cook beef and onion in skillet over medium low heat, stirring to crumble until brown.
Drain.
Stir in seasoning mix.
Spread in pie plate; sprinkle with chiles.
Beat milk, Bisquick and eggs until smooth (15 seconds in blender or 1 minute with hand mixer).
Pour into pie plate.
Bake 25 minutes.
Top with tomatoes; sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes more or until knife inserted to center somes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes.
Serve with sour cream (optional), tomatoes, shredded lettuce.
