Taco Bell Peppers
Taco Bell Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium green peppers, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1/2 c. cooked rice and 3 c. spaghetti sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cut off tops and insides of green peppers.
Parboil in boiling, salted water for 5 minutes; drain.
Brown the beef and onion; drain fat.
Add 1 cup spaghetti sauce, rice, taco seasoning, pepper and diced green pepper reserved from tops. Spoon meat mixture into pepper shell.
Pour remaining 2 cups spaghetti sauce over peppers.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake, covered, at 350Β° for 1/2 hour.
Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes or until tops are brown.
