Taco Bake
Taco Bake is an impressive Mexican dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with to 2 lb. ground beef, small onion, finely chopped, garlic, chopped, (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce and c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In small amount of oil, brown ground beef, onion and garlic. Drain off fat and add tomato sauce, water, olives, flour, vinegar and chili powder.
Hot peppers can be added (optional).
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Butter an oblong baking dish and layer meat sauce and taco shells, beginning and ending with meat sauce.
Sprinkle grated cheese over top and bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes and serve.
