Swiss Steak
Swiss Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. dry mustard, 1/2 c. flour, 1 tbsp. salt, 1 1/2 lb. flank or round steak, cut 1-inch thick and 1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix together dry mustard, flour and salt.
Pound mixture into the steak, covering both sides thoroughly.
Brown on both sides in roasting pan.
Cover meat with onions, carrots and tomatoes. Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar over all.
Cover and bake in a 325Β° oven for 2 hours.
Makes very tender steak.
