Sweetheart Salad
Sweetheart Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. knox gelatin, 1/4 c. water and 1 tbsp. cherry juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine pineapple and sugar and heat until dissolved. Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
Add to pineapple.
Add cherry and lemon juice.
Cream the cream cheese until soft.
Put cut up cherries into it.
Add to pineapple mixture.
Let chill until slightly firm.
Whip the cream and fold into the pineapple mixture.
Mold and chill.
