Sweetheart Fudge Pie
Sweetheart Fudge Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 3 eggs, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels, melted and 2 tsp. instant coffee granules, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cream the butter.
Gradually add brown sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add melted chocolate, coffee granules and rum extract; mix well.
Stir in flour and 1 cup chopped walnuts.
Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 375Β° for 25 minutes.
Cool completely.
Chill.
Garnish, if desired.
Yields one 9-inch pie.
