Sweet Potato Surprise Cake
Sweet Potato Surprise Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. cooking oil, 4 eggs, separated, 2 1/2 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine oil and sugar; beat until smooth.
Add egg yolks and beat well.
Add water and then dry ingredients that have been sifted together.
Stir in potatoes, nuts and vanilla.
Beat well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
Turn into 3 (8-inch) greased and floured layer cake pans.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
