Sweet Potato Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. mashed sweet potatoes, 6 tbsp. butter, softened, 3 c. sugar, 2 cans pet evaporated milk and 5 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Boil, drain, peel and cool sweet potatoes.
Mash thoroughly. Mix together sweet potatoes, butter, sugar, eggs and milk.
Blend well. Add spices and flavorings and mix well.
Divide evenly among 3 pie shells. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
