Swedish Meatballs
Swedish Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hamburger, 1 egg, 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs, 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix hamburger, egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper to taste. Form into meatballs.
Cook in skillet on low to medium heat until done.
Drain any grease. Add butter, onion and green pepper and cook another 2 to 3 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine the soups and sour cream together and mix.
Turn heat down on low and add the soup mixture.
Let simmer on low for 20 minutes. Serve with rice or potatoes.
