Surprise Shortcake

Prepare the Dream Whip.
Trim crusts from the bread.
Butter one side of the bread; sprinkle with sugar.
Measure 1/2 cup syrup from the berries and set aside.
Line bottom of a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with bread, buttered side up, trimming slices if necessary to fit pan.
Spoon half the strawberries on bread and 1 cup Dream Whip.
Repeat until last layer from top.
Last layer of bread should be buttered side down.
Drizzle with syrup.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 3 hours.
Invert onto serving platter.
Frost with Dream Whip and garnish with remaining strawberries.
